Deja Vu
The term déjà vu is French and means, literally, “already seen”. All of us have experienced being in a new place and feeling certain that we have been there before. This mysterious
feeling, commonly known as déjà vu, occurs when we feel that a new situation is familiar, even if there is evidence that the situation could not have occurred previously. For a long time, this eerie sensation has been attributed to everything from paranormal disturbances to neurological disorders. There have been strange things in my life always! This time what happened was more of a miracle to me.
This incident is about the Euro Cup’12 final match between Spain and Italy. Although people around the world supported Spain as it won two big titles in four years and now it was about conquering the third, i.e., Euro Cup consecutively. I had my eyes set to the Spanish goalkeeper and Captain Iker Casillas who maintained his astonishing record of not conceding a goal in the knockout stage of a tournament for the 10th successive match.
The day of final match arrives ,and I was overcome by a bizarre sensation, in the afternoon with my eyes open wide I saw a 20 seconds glimpse of the match and I actually saw that Fabregas pulls back and Silva scores with a rare header. By, this dream I was completely astonished and also happy simultaneously to the fact that Silva will score the first goal. I was just praying to God that this happens.
And when at night, this incident actually happened it felt like someone drew blood out of my veins. And to my horror, the time which I saw that dream was 2 by the clock and by 24-hour clock it will be read as ‘fourteen’ hours and coincidently Silva scored in the 14′.

I don’t know what it is! After realising and analysing this whole incident, I came to two conclusions :
1. That due to the Euro Cup fever, I didn’t sleep properly and might have been working these days with my subconscious mind (The subconscious mind can all too easily intrude itself on our conscious awareness, tricking us into thinking we’re getting intuitive guidance, when actually we’re merely being influenced by past impressions and unfulfilled desires ) and may be I have been hallucinating ( A hallucination can be described as a sensory perception which is experienced despite there being no external stimulus ).
2. Recognition memory is the type of memory that allows us to realize that what we are currently experiencing has already been experienced before. The brain fluctuates between two different types of recognition memory: recollection and familiarity.
Recollection-based recognition occurs when we can pinpoint an instance when a current situation has previously occurred.
Familiarity-based recognition occurs when our current situation feels familiar, but we don’t remember when it has happened before.

So, I have proof for both of the above conclusions:
1. I changed my profile picture on my facebook account to David Silva and why the hell did I do that?
2. Recollection-based recognition, where, events and episodes which we experience are stored in our memory as individual elements or fragments of that event and i.e the dream that I saw I actually recovered it
I am considering it as a gift from the God and therefore thanking the almighty for letting me a part of this wonderful sensation.!
Also, in the end, I would say something about the match, Imperious Spain took their place among the game’s greats in vintage style by thrashing Italy 4-0 to become the first team to win successive European Championship titles on Sunday and terrific Torres has become the first player to score in the two Euro finals.
