Self Perception
I have firmly believed that the secret to stay happy is to stay happy. The obvious recursion in the statement has puzzled me for long while my belief in the above said hypothesis has managed to retain its firmness.
Finally after a long time, I think I have figured it out. It is about perception of the self that we tend to have. Thus, I am stressing upon Self-Perception or the image of self that we have in our mind as the cause of most of the things how we feel like.
Not only it explains most part of my attitude that I have been observing but forms the basis of lots of other things.
Ego :- Ego (alongwith fear) has been invariably the most mysterious emotion to me. Perhaps, I would be wrong to quote ego as an emotion too. But now I think I feel ego is just an emotion that rises on account of our self-perception. Our ego is reflected by the way we tend to perceive ourselves.
Organizational concepts like Job Satisfaction can be explained on the basis of self perception. The way we perceive ourselves decides our conduct in our organization. In my view, satisfied individuals should have a very different self-perception than the other lot.
Here I am possibly in the midway of my post thinking that it explains everything say your levels of confidence, and anything else that can come to my mind but I am not sure how to jot down this feeling.
Edit : After thinking a lot what I am proposing seems too confusing to me now. Self Perception itself depends on so many things perhaps say our ego, job satisfaction, confidence, happiness quotient. But I find my initial implication more convincing.
If we can somehow manage to have a motivating perception of self, it can do wonders.
(Guilt is really strong emotion because it would hurt your self perception)
Self Perception is not something you feel in last two days, infact it is a much more cumulative sort of quotient to see how things are going.
